That is truly amazing Noel. I think the pumpkin improves on the original cup picture. Its a lot clearer.

Thanks guys. :)

And yeah, this one I put right up there with my Dark Dsurion Dragon as one of my two favorite carves ever.

Noel......

Have you ever considered sharing that wrap around dragon pattern? [-o<
My personal favorite, first ever shaded pumpkin was your dragon head. I loved it. I hope to re-do it next year, since I feel like Ive improved on my shading skills.

Also, I have a personal favorite dragon image that I have been tinkering with, but just don't have the "eye" to make it a realistic pattern.
The Rogue Dragon.

Have you seen/considered making a pattern of that image? I would be interested in contributing $$ towards your efforts if you ever consider it.
Dragons are just so hard to beat for the awe factor! And your dragon patterns are so realistic.

That might make an interesting dragon pattern. Regarding the sharing of my Dark Dsurion pattern, I've done so since I've made it. I just don't list it online since its really not clean and complete yet. But its in this directory:

WOW

Now that I see the pattern, I see how much detail and time went into it.
That is CRAZY!!!!
Thanks for directing me to the index. I browse your site all the time, but never noticed that pattern.

That's a wonderful pattern and carve. It's interesting that Disney combined two different sequences from Fantasia into one image. I believe that is the devil or whatever from the "Night on Bald Mountain" sequence and you know who the other is.

Fan-flippin-tastic, all I ever see in a coffee cup is the grinds  and I've just had a moan that my first real attempt at pattern making has taken me 6 hours I suppose I'll get quicker with practice.

Yep, that's Chernabog. For Disney folks, he's right near the top of the heap, along with Mickey as a source of sought after collectibles.

And don't give up Linda, you get better at these as you go. That said, the hours that went into this pumpkin were rather insane...

Incredible. Just taking the time to scan and then piece it all together before even trying to colorize is insane. Great job. =D>
